LibRack — a physical book rental marketplace, live in Germany

LibRack is a marketplace for renting physical — not digital — books, currently used in Hanover, Hamburg and more widely across Germany. It is live and in active use.

Why it’s here

Client work has a useful property: someone else absorbs the consequences of your architectural decisions after you leave. A side project does not. This one is where I find out whether the things I recommend actually hold up when I am the one still maintaining them two years later.

It is also where I work outside my default stack. Most of my professional work is Angular; this runs Next.js alongside it, which keeps the comparison honest rather than theoretical.

Status

Live at librack.com, in use, and still actively developed.
